Kauli Vaast surfed in his first CT event as a 17-year-old local wildcard at Teahupo’o, and threaded tube after tube until one of his heroes, Jeremy Flores, knocked him out in the round before the quarters. Ever since then his surfing has grown up fast, and after working with him sporadically for the last several years, we’re proud to officially welcome Kauli Vaast to the Traktor Team. He's the 3x WSL European Junior Champion, one of Tahiti's brightest prospects ever, and the type of talent we know will push us to innovate constantly to create even better surfboards.
