FREDERICO MORAIS

Frederico Morais has helped set the bar for Portuguese surfing through his captivating explosive style and calculated approach. The Cascais native has spent 5 years on the WSL Championship Tour, racking up numerous achievements along the way such as a runner-up finish to Filipe Toledo at the Corona Open J-Bay.  Despite falling off tour on occasion Frederico managed qualification for the WSL Championship Tour on two occasions placing 3rd on the WSL Qualifying Series in 2014 and Winning the Qualifying Series in 2019 after 3 event wins. Frederico made history in 2020 by qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics.  Through his long career, Frederico has paved the way for future generations of Portuguese surfers.
