After three days of non-stop, cutthroat competition, Julian Wilson is the new Billabong Pro Tahiti champion! Our boy built from start to finish, coming from behind in the final to lock in his two best waves of the entire event to overcome a combo from Medina. With so much hard work from Jules in reef break tubes over the last few years, plus a lot of R&D alongside JS on nailing the right boards, we're over the moon to see J-Dub take such a well earned victory at Teahupo'o. Bring on Trestles!

Our young gun's been scoring at home on the Central Coast this winter, and with a trip to Jbay on the cards for next week, he put in an order for a new batch of Monsta 6s and Forget Me Nots matched with a few watercolour inspired ideas for our in-house spray maniac Adrian Turner. Looking at these, Sprayer's absolutely nailed it, and so has JS.

Owen's got plenty of options for the smaller days at Saquarema in his Monsta 6's (both HYFI and PU), but with good, clean conditions on offer, he's been dominating with the extra drive and hold of his Forget Me Not! At 6'3" / 76kg, he rides a FMN round tail 6'3" x 19" x 2 3/8" x 29.3L. Clip Peter King Read More

Saquarema's mixed bag has been on full display for the start of the Brazil CT leg, with everything from peeling lefts to wedgey rights throwing up sections for turns, airs, and even the odd barrel (for Parko, especially). Having so much variety on offer and a fun-sized, consistent swell, the Traktor Team's equipment is all about high performance, and the first few days have delivered in spades. Wherever you surf around the world, the new Nitro is all about making those smaller, weaker days as much fun as possible. With a flatter rocker than any other board in our X Series, it's built to generate and hold maximum speed in whatever waves you have on hand. In this review, Noel Salas surfs his Nitro on a few small days at Trestles, and gives it a great going over. Looks like it suits him pretty damn well too... Dimensions, below (he's 5'9" / 77kg). Enjoy!
