Rippable novelty spots, proper Pipeline, and everything in between at the sandbars, Rocky Point and Off The Wall – Jules’ Hawaiian quiver here saw it all. Photo Jimmy Lees
From a wild and inconsistent North Shore season to summer in Newcastle, Julian’s had boards dialled for just about every type of wave you could imagine over the last month. Staying sharp in between swells before Pipe? Air 17X. Mixed bag of ramps, walls and tubes at Rocky Point? Air 17. Backdoor warm-ups? Forget Me Not. Read More
Being one of the most versatile surfers in the world, Julian knows exactly the type of equipment he needs everywhere he goes around the world. From his Air 17s and other shortboards in Europe, to the latest quiver of step ups and guns he's taking to Hawaii, there's a lot of variety there. But for fun, smaller surf - whether it's at home on the Sunshine Coast, Sydney or California - the new benchmark we've worked on with Jules is the Air 17X. Read More

After three days of non-stop, cutthroat competition, Julian Wilson is the new Billabong Pro Tahiti champion! Our boy built from start to finish, coming from behind in the final to lock in his two best waves of the entire event to overcome a combo from Medina. With so much hard work from Jules in reef break tubes over the last few years, plus a lot of R&D alongside JS on nailing the right boards, we're over the moon to see J-Dub take such a well earned victory at Teahupo'o. Bring on Trestles!

Owen's got plenty of options for the smaller days at Saquarema in his Monsta 6's (both HYFI and PU), but with good, clean conditions on offer, he's been dominating with the extra drive and hold of his Forget Me Not! At 6'3" / 76kg, he rides a FMN round tail 6'3" x 19" x 2 3/8" x 29.3L. Clip Peter King Read More

Saquarema's mixed bag has been on full display for the start of the Brazil CT leg, with everything from peeling lefts to wedgey rights throwing up sections for turns, airs, and even the odd barrel (for Parko, especially). Having so much variety on offer and a fun-sized, consistent swell, the Traktor Team's equipment is all about high performance, and the first few days have delivered in spades. Board breakdowns and gallery, below: Read More
Manly's been a mix of running rip bowls and super fun A-frames all week for the Australian Open, and so far Julian owns the performance of the event thanks to this ridiculous alley oop to air rev combination. Jules' home on the Sunshine Coast sees pretty similar surf for most of the year, along with 100s of other towns around the world, and because of this, his Air 17 is built for exactly these conditions. Average to decent/punchy beachbreaks, and high performance surfing. Board breakdown, below (he's 6'0" / 80kg): AIR 17 - 6'0 1/2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 28.2L

Julian's thrown down a handful of the best video parts in the world over the last few years, but this one might just be his best yet. From all-time Cloudbreak to perfect Keramas and some ridiculous performances at home on the Sunshine Coast, Wayward is an absolute masterpiece that we still can't quite wrap our heads around.
