Dusty Payne's Ready For Margaret River
After a bunch of great feedback on his new Monsta 6's at Bells, he added in a couple of bigger boards, including 6'2" and 6'6" Forget Me Nots straight out of Joel's quiver, to be ready for anything that the next two weeks could have in store. Dusty's won the Margaret River event before as a Prime, and with the range of venues requiring anything from solid turns to big ramps and (hopefully) heaving barrels, he's got a damn good chance to cause some upsets amongst the top seeds. Board breakdowns, below:

Dusty and one of his go to shortboards at the moment - a 5'11 1/2" x 18 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 27.6L Monsta 6. As everyone saw at Snapper last year, he's put on a bit of muscle since earlier in his career and is now 5'11" / 80kg, meaning a few slight tweaks to his boards and even more power in his rail game.
MONSTA 6 - 5'11 1/2" x 18 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 27.6L
FORGET ME NOT - 6'1 1/2" x 18 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 28L
FORGET ME NOT - 6'3 1/2" x 18 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 29L
STEP UP - 6'6" x 18 7/8" x 2 7/16" x 30L
STEP UP - 6'8" x 18 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 32L
