JORDY GOES BALLISTIC AT BALLITO!!

CONGRATULATIONS JORDY SMITH for taking out the 5 star Mr Price PRO BALLITO 010!!
The cat is out of the bag!

There’s been heaps of talk about AI and his stepped up, 3rd place performance at the 6.0 Trestles WQS last week on some mystery board of JS.
So to save any Konfusion we thought we better fill you in a little.
In down time AI has been surfing and training on the Goldie with Parko, LE and JS which of course involves trying a few of the boys Traktors, and one in particular, that has got him freakin’. Were not gonna give the the secret up but we can tell you its called KONFUSION. A little something JS shaped for himself and was sitting pretty in a small pile of R&D boards to be released next summer. AI rode the un-badged sample, and wouldn’t give it back.
He loved it so much JS had to make more the same to take to the US, unaware that everyone, in particular AI would make such a fuss about it.
Looks like this thing could be available sooner than expected.. So keep an eye out for it.
Coming to a store near you...
If you havent seen it already, check AI surfing KONFUSION at 6.0 lowers Pro..

Parko wins second consecutive Triple Crown in Hawaii

No stranger to the North Shore, Parko proved to us once again that he is one of the best all around surfers in the world by winning his second consecutive Triple Crown. At the prime age of 28, Joel has plenty of time to add to his number of Triple Crown victories as well as the continued pursuit of his first World Title.
Though Joel lost the World title to Mick Fanning in the final event of the season, this is what Joel had to say about his year:
“This is my consolation prize to this year’s ASP World Title,” Parkinson said. “To me, the Triple Crown is the next best thing to the World Title. Last year I wanted to win the Vans Triple Crown and this year I wanted to win the ASP World Title, but I won the Triple Crown and I’m over the moon with what happened this year. I should be proud of everything I’ve done and I can’t wait for next year and I’ll be back strong for another Triple Crown.”
JS hits the beaches of japan
Jason Stevenson (shaper and company founder) and Paul Stacy (head designer for 6 Star Boardiriding Co) recently took to the beaches of Japan in a pre organised demo day tour. With multiple stops and a hand full of boards under their arms, they toured the land of the rising sun not realising how popular the demo days would be.
The Japanese surfing community came along in droves to meet Jason and Paul, talk to them and get the chance to ride some of the JS Industries and 6 Star ranges. They scored some great waves during the demo days, and met a lot of good people and saw some great surfing. The boards were so popular with the surfers in Japan, that both Jason and Paul came back with no boards at all…….That’s right, they came home empty handed and even gave away their own personal boards
'This wave in Miyazaki was really fun. The take of was really good and started to really pitch, but then the wave fattened up in the mid section. It was a fun wave though and we were glad to get some good swell. We had such a great time surfing there and meeting all the locals. We couldn’t believe how many people wanted to ride our boards!!' said Jason about the Japan demo day tour.
Check out a few of these images below of Jason and Paul in action at Miyazaki, and keep your eyes peeled for the next JS and Sixstar demo day in your area…..
