fit) I surf Lennox a fair bit - will this board still hold up to 6ft as the MR only just does. Cheers. Jim
6'1" Jordy model and run's pretty well !!! Any suggestions??? Thanks, love your boards. P.S: Is this more for a front footed o back footer surfer ??
was as a tri.
Average ability. In NZ surfing beach breaks. Would appreciate some help. Cheers Sean
major diference with the 2 inches...would ride this board in Autumn and Winter so maybe the larger may be better and wont make a ton of difference with the low rail.....thoughts on which would suit? Ta
up so the Buried Treasure's in the board bag for the next few days. Thinking I might get both sets (i.e Occy and Parko sets) for some variety ...
and it cam alive, but feeling small still ... HELP !
you recommend?
differences? Cheers!! jonny
too small, and the 6'2" too big. What do you recommend?
a black box, or a konfusion or a prodigy over a kingpin etc. Thank you for your time Joseph
go shorter, would you recommend me the kingpin or the prodigy? whawt sizes do you think will suit me best? waves round here are mostly about 1-3 feet. thanks
big and 5'10 would be better? Thanks M8. Your feedback is pure Gold!
Raglan (NZ) points, and have a trip to indo in 8 weeks. I know the kingpin will be better for Indo but unsure for raglan. Can you please help me make a decision??? ive held both and still couldnt make a decision, altho the blak box felt a lil better! cheers
mate.
to when you size down you will still have enough floatation...sorry i did nt just say yes ,which is easy to do ..but the next step in your board choice is a big one
What do you recommend.
The quick turn and two stroke paddle in a specialty. Currently tipping the scales at 95ish and pretty much run a thruster set up with JS-1 fins from my Parko sig. Not sampled the quad but will soon when I get a few surfs in succession. Tellin ya...the best
board I've ridden. A chestnut TD
ability, 42 years young but get to surf in shitty waves mostly. value your opinion...thanks for your time
currently ride a CI 6' 2" Flyer (19 1/2" x 2 1/2"). The board is totally underwater when I paddle, runs well in good waves but is pretty hopeless for me in small stuff. Also difficult for me to catch waves in the small stuff. I need more volume and an easier
board to paddle. I'm torn between the: LE Signature 6'4" x 19 1/4" x 2 5/8", Kingpin 6'2" or 6'3" x 20" x 2 5/8", Konfusion 6'3" x 19 1/8" x 2 1/2". I want something that will catch waves easily, suit my style of surfing and work in waist high slop to just
overhead waves. Thanks in advance - Sean
its on rails. Gedditindia lads...its a no brainer TD
to head/ head and half(lucky day here in the UK) Looking at the kingpin or konfusion and not sure of size. What do you recon? Im out on a bloody boat for another 4 weeks and want to get something lined up for when I get back!
board?
also do you know how a fat fish and kingpin compare for volume? Thanks James
wondering if you do fibreflex orders.
cheers

Been surfing about 2 years in San Diego. 5'11" and about 175 - 180 lbs. Currently riding a 7'0" Stewart Hydro Hull thruster and ready to move on to something new. Any recommendations on the KP or anything else?
SC
i have a kingpin 5'10
best board i'v had by far! whitch kr fins do you recomend for a thruster set up?
"King pin" please,thank you
Do you think the 1/8" and the 1/16" makes a huge difference to these 2 lengths?
thanks again.
David
Thanks
David
whe need a js dealer in mexico i have to go to u.s.a to get js boards but i love them
thank you very much
FWIW, I'm 6'1 x 77-80kg. I got the 6'1 thinking it'd have more range, and not knowing how much volume it actually had (took a punt and bought one off the web). This is no skinny little wafer, it's got heaps of float, and I could have gone smaller, but am happy with the length. Have surfed it mostly in a 3/2 steamer and I stroke into waves with ease. Perfect day at my local yesterday, and the board shone in 4-5ft waves. I wish JS would make a step up version :o)
Highly bloody recommended!
I am an average surfer (have been surfing for 10 years now on frequent basis) and recently had to move from Sydney to Italy. My standard shortboard is a D Handley 6'2''x18 1/2x2 1/4 with a squash tail and I have been generally happy with this. I am now looking into trying something a little different - more universal with 1 - a bit more paddle power when the waves are not pushy enough (mediterranian crap) and 2 - something that will give me a different feel than my standard shorty in both crappy and good waves between zero and 6 feet. The Kingpin looks like exactly what I have been looking for. I was thinking of getting it in 5'11'' but am a bit hesitant about going out on a 4-6 foot day on a 5'11'' board. Just wanted to ask you for adviceā¦is this the right board (or should I be thinking more blak box or burried treasure)? Is 5'11'' the right size or would you go a little longer? I am 6'1'' and 80kgs so pretty standardā¦Thanks a lot for your help!
Ondrej
cheers
I think a 5'11 Kingpin would be ideal - the Blak Box has more volume, so you can go slightly bigger (1 to 2")
with the KP.
Love your work,
JS
a 6'4 Kingpin would be the way to go - it sounds like a good option for what you are currently riding, plus it has the option to play around with fin structure.
Cheers
JS
I would be steering you into a Konfusion 6'3 - it is giving you a little more thickness (2.5) to contend with the Sydney mush. The Konfusion is the current team favourite - myself and all the boys are loving it!!!!
Thanks for the reply!
