the 6,2 mystery sounds good the volume is 32.6 liters which is a little more than your 6,6 occy....more floation for slightly smaller surf and the mystery is a good alrounder

Hi JS, I was looking for a board to fill a bit of a gap. I'm 6'2" about 90kgs and a solid intermediate surfer - I have a merrick 6'0 POD that i ride most days in Sydney and Occy's 6'6" (which I love) when it gets 4ft+. I've been looking at The Mystery
do you think it would be a good choice for me? And what size would you suggest? Thanks. - it's really cool you take time to answer all these questions. A

Griffon, I wouldn't worry, If your normal board is 5'7 1/2 you will probably be fine. I always ride mystery 2" shorter than my normal board, its your weight that's more important... JS

hey sorry for this but i already ordered my board and i went 5'6" x 18 1/4 x 2 1/16. Do you think this will be a big difference? (I am actually 5'7", not 5'6".)
JS commented on 06-Mar-2011 07:25 AM
Griffon, will be a custom 5’5 x 18 1/8 x 2 1/8 - 2 1/16. JS

Hey, Kingpin or Mystery will give you the most adaptability that's needed around there. Kingpin especially because of its versatile 5 fin setup. But if you like the more conventional boards Mystery might feel more comfortable. Hope this helps,JS

Hi JS, I'm looking for a good all-around daily driver. I'm 5'11 tall and about 100 - 105 kgs. I surf mostly beachies around San Diego. I had a 6'6 x 20 x 2 5/8 ...lost sd2 that was too long. I like the looks of the Mystery, Kingpin, and Modco, but probably need custom dims. What size/model would you recommend? Thanks!
