Congrats to Jack freestone who just become the new World Junior Champion over the weekend. Making him and Parko the only 2 ozzy's to do it, which could be saying good things about jacks future. Heres a little mash up of Jack over the last few months riding mainly MYSTERY, the board he won the title on.Jack Freestone from Nick Pollet on Vimeo.

What model surf board is jack riding 3mins into the clip?

Hey Joe, the rail isn't too low that it will cause you any problems. Its probably a good option cause it's a little fuller in outline than the hi performance models but will still perform like one. JS

Hey JS, just wondering if the mystery is suitable for an average surfer??? i want it for 1-3 foot but worried the lower rails might bring me undone?

I can't decide whether to get the mystery in the 6'1 or the 6'2. Can you tell me what the volume is of each??

Thank you JS! Makes perfect sense. Love all the new models. You have the best boards in the business!

Hi Ralph, Mystery is an x-series model which makes it a cross between a summer groveler (like blak box) and a conventional high performance board. We recommend you ride summer series boards up to 4" shorter than your performance & X series around 2" shorter. eg: 5'10 blak box 6'0 mystery 6'2 performance board. Its a basic formula but works really well in most cases. JS

Hi JS,
how would you size the mystery in relation to the blakbox? I have a 5'10 blakbox in stock dims and it's the best board I've ever ridden!! Keep up with the awesome shapes.

Ralph

Oh and my mistake up there, I weigh 130 lbs.

Hi JS! WHat size would you recommend for me? I'm 5'6 1/2" , and weigh 130, although still growing. I am still trying to find what my standard shortboard size is, but i currently ride a 5'7" x 17 3/4" x 2.23(?)" Really like how this board looks for high performance surfing less than ideal waves.

Hi Mike,
I would look at something similar to what Parko rides in the Mystery, as he is similar height & weight to yourself. Take a look at the 5'10 19 2 3/8
Cheers

Congrats Jack! The Mystery looks like a fun board. What size would you recommend for someone 180cm and 80kgs? I currently ride a 6'2" x 18 5/8" x 2 5'16" Jordy Model and love it.
